Childrn's Art Show

Annual Dog Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 24 at 1:00pm
Memorial (Kenmore) Park

$5 for up to 2 dogs, pre-registration is requested.
On-site registration will be available only if space remains.

Come dressed to enter our doggie costume contest to compete for prizes!! Bring your dogs and come join the fun at our annual Dog Easter Egg Hunt. This is a great way to get out and play with your favorite furry friend. Your registration of $5 allows up to two dogs to join in the fun! Dogs must be at least 12 weeks old. A small dog area will also be available for dogs under 15lbs. Pre-registration requested. All dog parents must sign release acknowledging their dog(s) are current on shots and are healthy. Get the release form online here.

Local artists and craftspeople share their handmade goods in the park in conjunction with the Farmers Market. Art in the Park is held the first and third Saturdays at the Farmers Market from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Hurkamp Park, 500 William Street, Fredericksburg

Enjoy the 15th annual Earth Day Festival along the beautiful Rappahannock River! We’ll have dozens of environmental exhibitors, live music, great food, birds of prey, hands-on activities, and so much more for the entire family! Come learn what you can do to reduce your impact on the planet while having great, FREE, fun. Bring your own water bottle for re-fills! Rain date: April 28th.

Join us for our annual Mother & Son Dance as a fun way to appreciate the most special women in our lives. Boys 4-12 years old are invited to take their moms, grandmas, aunts, sisters or beloved friends on a special Mother’s Day date! We will have professional photographer A.G. Green taking optional portraits for those of you who would like a memento of this special night. Attire is everything from dress casual to fancy. Be ready for a fun evening out together! Sorry no dads allowed. Pre-registration is required.

Come hook your bait and cast your line to catch catfish in the Reservoir.  Private boats will be allowed on the water only if they meet proper VDGIF standards for night fishing but all boats must be off the water by 12:30am.
