Beginning March 20, Spotsylvania and City of Fredericksburg will temporarily adjust water treatment disinfection process to maintain high level of disinfection in water mains. Flushing of the mains will then begin about March 23 and continue through May. You will see various water hydrants throughout the city flushing water for periods of time.
