What is it?
Ride the 1000 foot slide! SlideFXBG is a one-day event featuring the Urban Slide, a 1000-foot slip and slide that provides fun for all ages. All sliders must be at least 40 inches tall and must use a tube. Only one person per tube.
When is it?
The slide runs on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 11 am to 5 pm. Tickets are sold in blocks for 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm and 5 pm. At 6:45 pm, nobody else can enter the line for the slide.
Where is it?
This year’s event will be held on William Street, with the start of the slide a few feet below College Avenue and ending at Sunken Road.
