Annual Water Disinfection and Flushing Program Begins March 16

The annual program conducted will temporarily stop adding ammonia during the water treatment disinfection process to help ensure a high level of disinfection in our community's network of water mains.

During this period, you may notice a change in the taste or odor of your tap water. The County and City will return to using ammonia on April 13, 2018.

Flushing of water mains will occur in the County and City beginning on or about March 19, and continue through May 2018. Crews will work each day, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
