Rappahannock Canal Water Level

The recent volume of rain over the February 10-11 weekend  caused debris to clog one of the flood gates at the Princess Anne Street end of the Rappahannock Canal, which prevented the flood gate from closing completely.  This situation unfortunately meant that the canal water emptied.  The large amount of debris has now been removed allowing the gate to close fully and the upcoming rains will refill the canal.
