[ARCHIVED] Downtown Street Closures for Oktoberfest

The Capital Ale House Oktoberfest plans to be held on Saturday, October 1 from noon–10 p.m. in the 800 and 900 blocks of Caroline Street. A weather related postponement determination will be made by noon on September 30. The 800-900 blocks of Caroline Street and the 100-200 blocks of George Street will be closed to through traffic and will be used as additional event and event support space for the festival. Those blocks will be closed from 4:00 a.m. Saturday until 2:00 a.m. Sunday for set up and break down of the event. See event map for more details.

Please be mindful of the additional vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the downtown area. Pay close attention to parking signs and restrictions.
