Staff has transmitted their progress report on the first quarterly update for Council Priorities Phase Four for 2023-2025 under the categories of the nine desired future states for Council’s 2036 Vision.
As most will recall, in October 2016 the Fredericksburg City Council formally adopted its 2036 Vision Statement, Desired Future States and its associated Priorities. Staff reported out in late 2018 on Phase One (2016-2018) of our work, and for Phase Two (2019-2020) in August 2021 and Phase Three (2021-2022) in January 2023. These Reports are meant to update and demonstrate aggressive efforts to accomplish a majority of these Priorities - while managing increasing daily workloads. During each Phase, staff has delivered quarterly updates to Council and will continue to provide updates.
