Landfill Has Extended Free Residential Drop-off

R-Board Waiver of Fees image

Winter Storm debris cleanup: The Public Works Department and their contractors have been steadfastly working to remove damaged and downed trees. This work is ongoing and being prioritized by location/severity/volume of traffic affected. As progress is made, “cosmetic” correction of broken branches will take place. Please do not place any debris in street, parking lane or on sidewalk.  Stafford County Landfill is currently waiving fees to dump residential yard debris at the Eskimo Hill location only: 489 Eskimo Hill Rd, Stafford, VA 22554  until January 17 extended now to January 24.  See
Christmas tree collection originally scheduled to start the week of January 10 has been delayed by snow and storm remediation. The cleanup will occur, throughout this month. The trees will not be collected by trash or recycling trucks, they will be collected separately so that they can be mulched. Please be sure trees have no left-over decorations or lights that would interfere with mulching. The deadline to have a tree removed at no charge is Friday, January 28.
