Recycling Fee

Beginning with the August 27, 2021 billing cycle

The City of Fredericksburg implemented a $3 recycling fee for all customers that reside in eligible areas throughout the City. This recycling fee was adopted by City Council to offset part of the cost of the single-stream curbside recyclables collection program.

For additional information about the recycling fee please read the Recycling Fee Frequently Asked Questions (PDF).

Guidelines on collecting recyclables are available on the Public Works Department webpage.
