A local tradition since 1997!

It has since grown into one of the community’s most popular events. Each concert serves as a meeting place and opportunity for community groups, business people, friends, families, seniors, and preschoolers to gather together and enjoy music, downtown Fredericksburg, and each other. Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation & Events hosts this FREE concert series made possible by our wonderful sponsors! It’s a great opportunity for visitors and residents to savor a beautiful day outdoors in historic downtown while enjoying live, local entertainment. Bring a picnic lunch, a blanket, and come relax with the kiddos.

Tuesdays, 11:30am - 1:30pm

Join us for live music, good food and fun. Bring a picnic lunch or buy one from our park vendors while you enjoy the sunshine with your children, friends and co-workers. Free admission, public is invited.

  • Harry Potter Day - May 2:  Darcy Dawn / Make a golden snitch or a broom pencil 
  • Bring Your Pet Day - May 9: Bring your pet to the park
  • Around the World Day - May 16:  Acoustic Onion / Come experience different activities from Around the World
  • Superhero Day - May 23: Karen Jonas / Come dressed as your favorite Superhero
  • Carnival Day - June 6: Harry Wilson / Come play some Carnival games 
  • On the Farm Day - June 13: Peter Mealy & Laurie Rose Griffith / Come see and explore Parks Recreation and Events Tractors
  • Shark Day - June 20: Johnny D & the Lowriders / Come celebrate Shark Day with our Shark mascot
  • Beach Day - June 27 at Riverfront Park: Bill Carroll / Come dressed to play in the sprinklers
