Rec2U is a free youth program offered in neighborhoods and parks throughout the City of Fredericksburg over the summer months. The program is designed to increase opportunities for youth to participate in safe, quality, structured play and recreation in areas where services are not available. Our mission is to facilitate a safe environment where youth can meet their neighbors and engage in a variety of fun recreational activities. This program offers kids of all ages, but especially school-age kids, an opportunity to engage in recreational sports, play traditional games or even create their own fun. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends, learn a new game, or just hang out with other kids in your neighborhood. There are no check-in or check-out hours; feel free come out and play at any time!
