Proposed Service Changes for UMW Eagles Express Service

Fredericksburg Regional Transit proposes the following changes and service improvements to UMW Eagle Express Service effective for the Fall 2021 Academic Calendar. The public is requested to comment on the proposed service changes through August 21, 2021.

Proposed UMW Eagle Express Service - Fall 2021 (PDF)

  • Single Service Schedule for all UMW Eagle Express Service (based on Eagle 2 LN Route)
  • Single Service Routing for all UMW Eagle Express Service
  • New 30 minute frequency service on UMW Eagle Express Routes
  • Elimination of Eagle 1 Service (replaced with new UMW single route/schedule Eagle Express Service)
  • Elimination of Eagle 2 Service (replaced with new UMW single route/schedule Eagle Express Service)

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs and activities receiving Federal financial assistance. Title VI provides that "no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance" (42 U.S.C. Section 2000d).

TITLE VI COMPLAINT: FORMS & PROCEDURES

Any individual may exercise his or her right to file a complaint with FRED if that person believes that he or she has been subjected to unequal treatment or discrimination in the receipt of benefits or services. A formal complaint must be filed within 180 days of the alleged occurrence.  Complaints should be in writing and signed by the individual or his/her representative, and will include the complainant’s name, address and telephone number; name of alleged discriminating official, basis of complaint (race, color, national origin) and the date of alleged act(s).  A statement detailing the facts and circumstances of the alleged discrimination must accompany all complaints.
