The placement of dumpsters, portable Toilets, and portable storage containers in the public right-of-way is subject to review and approval of permit application submitted to the Public Works Department.
Dumpsters and portable toilets are limited to a maximum of 60 consecutive days; portable storage containers are limited to 7 consecutive days.
A dumpster or container must be removed for at least 30 days prior to consideration of a new permit. The purpose of this policy is to prevent health and safety hazards and to minimize the potential for nuisance associated with dumpster and container placement.
Any exceptions to this policy are subject to approval by the Director of Public Works.
