Curbside Trash and Recycling Collection Guidelines

Trash may not be placed on the curb for collection without signing up and paying for City trash service. Please contact the Utility Billing Office to obtain service.

Holiday and Weather-related Schedule Changes

***Be sure to check for potential changes and alternate collection day before placing trash/recycling on curb. We will not be able to make additional trips for missed trash/recycling due to schedule changes. Schedule updates are available on Public Works home page News & Announcements, by signing up for Alerts, or by calling 372-1023 (24 hours/day).***

These holidays can affect collection schedules: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. Poor weather occasionally necessitates delayed collection as well.

Trash collection day/type of service is determined by street address: Trash collection schedule (PDF)

Trash rules and regulations are supported and enforced by authority of City Code §62-1 through §62-8.
