· The age limit at
the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court is 12 years of age,
unless summoned to appear for a
case.
· No age limit at
the General District Court.
· Circuit Court
has an age limit of at least seven years or older.
· At all three
courts, children must be supervised and well-behaved.

· Knives, guns,
pepper mace, tools, sharp objects including scissors or other
weapons.
· No cell phones,
pager or electronic devices are permitted in the courtrooms and the
Sheriff's Office will not hold the items for you or be responsible
for them.
· No backpacks
will be allowed into the courtrooms.
· No food or
drinks of any kind are allowed in the courtrooms.
To avoid delay (and possibly miss your scheduled hearing), it is
highly recommended that you check your pockets, brief cases, key
rings, etc. to ensure that you have no objects with you that could
conceivably be used as a weapon. Do not overlook items such as pens,
knives, fingernail files and clippers. You will not be allowed into
the courtroom with them. Plan ahead; leave questionable objects at
home or in your car.
