The Planning Commission meets to conduct a public hearing and to consider applications for Special Use Permits, Site Plans, Subdivisions, Rezonings, and Zoning Text Amendments, on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, City Hall, 715 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg, Virginia. The applicant or his or her representative must be present to answer questions from the Planning Commission. A second meeting is scheduled for the last Wednesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. in Council Chambers as a work session.
Applicants must submit applications, along with the application fee, payable to the City of Fredericksburg, to the Planning and Community Development Department, Room 209 City Hall. Please submit twenty-five (25) copies of the application and any plans, elevations, supporting material, and the application. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Filing deadlines are established to allow sufficient time to process applications and comply with public notification requirements. Public notices will appear in The Free Lance-Star.
