Parking
On-Street Parking
In general, parking non-commercial vehicles on City streets is unrestricted unless otherwise prohibited by signs. However, a legally parked vehicle or trailer cannot be left in the same specific location for more than ten days without being moved.

Resident Only On-Street Parking
Some streets are designated as “Resident Parking Only”. Vehicles owners who reside in resident only parking areas may obtain a resident parking permit at Police Headquarters during normal business hours. Applicants are required to show the vehicle registration and proof of address. Residents may also obtain temporary parking permits for guests.

Resident Only VRE Parking
The train station parking lot between Sophia and Caroline is reserved for City residents. Resident stickers may be obtained from the City Treasurer’s Office.

UWM Student On-Street Parking
