Mission Statement
The mission of the General Registrar's Office is to provide opportunities, in an equitable and courteous manner, for all qualified citizens of the City of Fredericksburg to register to vote; to promote the integrity of the electoral process by maintaining accurate and current voter registration records used in elections; to coordinate elections so they are conducted in a manner that secures the qualified citizen's right to vote and ensures that the results accurately reflect the voter's will; and to be an information resource for citizens regarding voter registration, elections, and elected officials.

Election Results for May 6, 2014 General Election

Upcoming Elections:

June 10, 2014:  Republican Primary

The City of Fredericksburg will have a Republican Primary on June 10, 2014 for the Congressional seat for the First Congressional District between
Robert J. "Rob" Wittman and Anthony T. Reidel.  

Polls are open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. 

Absentee voting will begin on April 25, 2014.  You can call for an application for an Absentee Ballot to be mailed to you or you can come to the office and vote an Absentee Ballot in person. 

The last day to register to vote prior to the election is May 19, 2014. The registration will open up again on June 11.

The last day to apply for an Absentee Ballot by mail is June 3, 2014.

The last day to vote Absentee Ballot in person is Saturday, June 7, 2014 when our office is open from 9 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
