The
Fredericksburg Fire Department is a full service organization.
Services include fire safety education, all hazardous emergency
preparedness training, and emergency response to fires, emergency medical calls, confined space rescue,
water rescue, and hazardous materials incidents.
Additionally, the Fredericksburg Fire Department in partnership with private enterprise provide free smoke detectors, conducts child safety seat training and inspections, sponsors an annual golf tournament benefiting "Aluminum Cans for Burned Children" of Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
