Cancellations

We have several options to announce cancellation notices when you need them:

   1. Sign up for cancellation notifications at www.fredericksburgalert.com and we will send the notices directly to your cell phone or email. This is a great way to get up-to-the-minute information about much more than cancellations! You decide what interests you and tailor your notices to suit your level of interest.
 
 
   2. Call our Cancellation Phone Line (dial 372-1086, press 2 then press 1).

   3. We post sport, event and park cancellations on our Facebook page. Remember to "Like" Fredericksburg Parks and Recreation for up-to-date information on all our programs.
 

Please NOTE:

When City Schools are closed due to inclement weather, Parks & Recreation Activities are canceled as well. 

Any time that City Schools are on a delay due to inclement weather, Parks & Recreation will cancel their morning classes.
