Weekdays June 1 - June 11 from 3pm - 7pm

Admission
Pool Photo ID Card
Pool photo ID card required for both residents and non-residents for ages three and over. Initial Pool ID issued free of charge. All admission fees still apply where applicable. Proof of age and residency required to get a pool ID. Driver’s License, voter registration card, utility bill, school ID, or a personal check with your address (match Driver’s License) is acceptable for proof of residency. Guests are welcome but MUST pay the non-resident fee.

Discount Pool Punch Card for Non-Residents
20 admission punches for $80 (can be used for youth and /or adult) NON –REFUNDABLE. Only good for the year issued.
Patrons who exit the facility after being appropriately "marked" by staff may re-enter (if occupancy loads permit)within the same day without paying a second admission.
Everyone entering Dixon Pool must pay and is subject to all admission policies and must abide by all pool rules.
2010 Admission Requirements
Anyone who enters pool area, must pay (as applicable), regardless of whether or not they are swimming
Children 11 years old and younger, must be accompanied by someone 18 years or older
Children 12-17 year old may enter without adult supervision upon completing swim test, but may not be responsible for other children
An adult 18 years of age or older may be responsible for up to 4 patrons age 17 years or younger, and must be within arms reach of all of their non-swimmers.
Without proof of residency, non-city fees will be charged.
Admission can be paid by cash, credit card, or by using Discount Punch Pass Card.
Aquatic Facility Rules
Swim Tests
In order to enter the square section of the pool, or go down the slide, ALL patrons ages 17 or younger, must first complete a swim test.
Capacity
As a matter of safety, the pool has a maximum number of patrons allowed in the pool area at a time. A sign will be posted when the pool is full, and as one person leaves, another may enter.
Smoking
No smoking permitted anywhere in the aquatic facility.
Food and Beverages
- Coolers may be brought into pool area, but food may be consumed in consession area only.
- Glass bottles or alcoholic beverages are not permitted in or around the pool facility.
- ALL food is to be consumed in consession areas only.
- ONLY closed container drinks will be allowed on the pool deck.
Chairs and Other Equipment
Folding chairs or umbrellas may be brought into pool area. The department will not be held responsible in any way for the operation of, damage to, or loss of such equipment.
Diaper Policy
Any child who wears a diaper must wear a "little swimmer" type of diaper with a bathing suit over it to go into the water.
Drop off Policy
Children 12-17 years may be admitted without supervision, provided they have passed our swim test.
Play Toys
Aquatic play items are not permitted in pool. No motorized toys. However, the lifeguard has the right to grant permission based on hte capacity and current situation in the pool. After a designated number of people in the pool, no play toys will be allowed (Water wings are not recommended for children to wear). An adult must be within arms reach of any child using a flotation device.
Jewelry
Be advised that jewelry, especially piercings and dangling necklaces or earrings is dangerous to wear while swimming.
Proper Bathing Attire
Anyone, even infants, who enters the pool, must be wearing proper bathing attire. No thongs or cut offs. Questions about proper bathing attire may be addressed with the pool manager on duty.
Bad Language
The use of foul language, obscenities or other vulgar or dis-respectful language toward pool personnel or other patrons will not be permitted, and is cause for disciplinary action.
Discipline
Any person that does not obey the above rules, or fails to follow directions from the lifeguards will be asked to "sit out" from the pool. If behavior continues, the person will be asked to leave the pool facility for the day. Should that person’s behavior worsen, or should such behavior be continued on another day at the facility, the person shall be suspended from the aquatic facility for a time period from 1 week to the entire season, depending on the severity of the infraction.
NOTE: Final determination of suitability of toys or behaviors shall be made by pool management.

Special Events:
June 16th – “Country Night” 8:00pm – 10:00pm. Admission $3.00. Come enjoy an evening of swimming, music and fun with a country theme.
July 21 – “Hot Summer Night Swim” – 8:00pm – 10:00pm. Admission $3.00. Enjoy an early evening swim and gentle music as we celebrate the “hot” weather!
August 18 – “Hawaiian Night” – 8:00pm -10:00pm. Admission $3.00. Join the fun as we enjoy an evening celebrating Hawaii.
August 28 – “Soggy Dog Day” – 12:00pm – 3:00pm. Admission $5.00 for up to two dogs. Dogs rule for one-day at as we close for the season. Registration forms available as of May 29, 2010.
Swim Lession Permission Form 2010
Group Rates
Minimum 12 people, maximum 28 people at a time (including supervision)
$4 Non-City fee per person in group.
Rate is based on location of group sponsor (day care centers and churches located outside the city limits will pay Non-City rates, regardless of the residency of children they bring to the pool)Group must reserve at least 2 weeks in advance for group rate
Only 1 group reservation at a time, for a two hour time slot. Groups will not be scheduled any closer than intervals of 2.5 hours, with a maximum of 2 groups per day.
Day care centers, churches, day camps, etc. are limited to 1 reservation per week per age group.
The following ratios apply for groups to be eligible for group rate:
2 years & under; 1 adult/2 children
3 years – 6 years: 1 adult/2 children
7 years – 13 years: 1 adult/4 children
14 years – 17 years 1 adult/10 children*
*For these groups, an adult is defined as 18 years or older. For all others an adult is defined to be at least 16 years of age.
After Hours' Rentals
Rentals will be Friday and Saturday evenings 7:30 – 10:30pm and Sundays 7:30pm – 10:00pm
$150 deposit for all groups to reserve the time, refundable if no damage done to pool area, if renter leaves on time and cleans up after group. Deposit in addition to rental fee.
$200 for 50 people or less (no more than 50 people will be allowed in pool area)
$300 for 51-100 people (no more than 100 people will be allowed in pool area)
Larger group rentals must be approved by director, and rate will be determined by size of the group.
The following ratios apply or groups during after hour rentals*:
2 years & under: 1 adult/2 children
3 years – 6 years: 1 adult/3 children
7 years – 13 years: 1 adult/5 children
14 years – 17 years: 1 adult/10 children**
18 years – 20 years: 1 adult / 20 children**
*For after hour rentals there must be a minimum of 1 adult who is 21 years or older for every 10 children 18 years or under.
** For groups whose members are 14 – 20 years old, all chaperones must be 21 years or older.
