Meet the Staff

Melissa Steiniger, Human Resources Assistant.   Melissa has worked for the City for a number of years in part time capacities at the Parks, Recreation and Public Facilities Department.   She has been with Human Resources for just over one year.  She has a key role in the department, serving as receptionist, intake for applications, conducting orientations with new employees, entering master file information to payroll and generally supporting the work of the department.    E-mail Ms Steiniger

Deborah “Debbie” Randle, Human Resources Specialist.   Debbie is the primary benefits administrator for our office.   While we are all cross-trained as generalists, Debbie is our “go-to” for issues involving our healthcare, dental, 457 plan through ICMA and Virginia Retirement System.   Debbie is  retired from the U.S. Army, where she also performed benefits administration duties.   We offer medical, dental, and retirement plans, along with supplemental medical programs through AFLAC, and a 457 plan through ICMA.    E-mail Ms. Randle
