FAQ's Check Out our New Online Registration
  How do I register?

You can register by fax, in person, by mail or online. We do not accept telephone registration.

How do I get an OnLine Account?

Click on the activity into which you would like to enroll, or any other open activity andfill out the information requested for first time users and submit it. Be sure to give us both your home and work phone numbers, especially if you have children. It makes it easier for us to keep you informed about class changes, cancellations and any problems that might arise. Remember that when you apply for an account, we can only respond during business hours. While we will try to expedite your request, if you apply over a weekend, it will probably not be approved until Monday morning. Click here to view programs and apply for an account.

Where can I find a map?
We currently have maps online. To view these maps,Click Here. Or select the link to the Visitor Center for more information on the downtown area. Visitor Center click here.

Why doesnīt my registration work on the on line system?
There are several reasons why your efforts to register on our on line system will not work:
  1. The class is not open for registration at this time. Some classes require special registration data and therefore cannot be accessed in the on line system. (i.e. football requires a weigh-in, etc).
  2. The class has already started and if that is the case you must register in person.
  3. The class is full and there is no waiting list.
  4. The system is temporarily unavailable due to other number of users at the same time.
  5. You have not applied for an account, which requires an e-mail address.
  6. Your child is too young/old for the class and the system will not accept your registration.
  7. You have not provided your childīs birth certificate/proof of age and it is not on file yet.

What if Iīm not a resident of the City?
Non-residents are welcome to sign up for any and all classes, however there is an additional non-resident fee for each class that is more than $10.

What if my child is a little young/old according to the class description?
You must select a class that is within the proper age range of your child. We offer an Age Waiver option for youth sports only whereby a child may be considered, for placement purposes, a year older than they actually are. No Age Waivers will be accepted online. All requests for Age Waiver must be made in person at the time of registration.

Example: A 7 yr old who is the proper age for Novice Soccer, ages 6-7, may be considered as an 8 yr old and placed into Rookie Soccer, ages 8-9, at the parentīs request. This is accomplished by filling out an Age Waiver Request form and turning it in, in person, along with the registration. No Age Waivers will be accepted online.

What happens when it rains and my class is outdoors?
In case of inclement weather, call our Cancellation Line (dial 372-1086, press 2 then press 1). Or you may view on-line cancellations on this web page. Click here to go directly to cancellations.
Also, listen to B101.5 / WFVA and 93.3 / WFLS for announcements that will be made throughout the day. We will schedule make-ups for class cancellations due to inclement weather.

Programs are cancelled whenever CITY SCHOOLS are closed because of inclement weather. All programs held at city schools are cancelled when there is a CITY school holiday.
