Resident Parking Permits
Permits may be obtained from the Fredericksburg Police Department Records division located at 2200 Cowan Blvd, Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. A resident must fill out the Parking Permit form and must present a photo ID, proof of residency (such as copy of lease if applicable), and current vehicle registration for each vehicle for which the resident is requesting a permit. The resident may obtain a parking permit for every vehicle they own which is domiciled within the city limits. Photo ID, proof of residency, and current vehicle registration is required EVERY TIME a resident requests a resident parking permit or re-issue of an expired permit.
Permits are free. All resident permits must be affixed to the rear bumper near the license plate of the vehicle to which it is issued.
