In addition to competitive salary and outstanding benefits, officers work a variety of schedule options depending on their assignment. Patrol officers work permanent daytime, evening or night shifts alternating between a 4 and 5 day-off cycle. Detectives and officers on special assignment have flexibility in their schedules. We recently moved into a newly constructed 35,000 square foot Police Headquarters on a 16-acre campus. Among the amenities for employees to enjoy are a fully equipped fitness facility, spacious locker room and a well-appointed employee lounge.
