Special Equipment Tactical Team (SETT)
The Special Equipment Tactical Team (S.E.T.T.) is an integral part of the Police Department. The primary mission of S.E.T.T. is the entry and securing of buildings during drug raids or the execution of warrants in anticipation of violence. The team also responds to hostage or barricade situations.
The team is comprised of specially trained and qualified police officers. All S.E.T.T. duties are undertaken in addition to the officers primary duties.
