The City Manager serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the City, translating City Council's vision, policies and priorities into action.

Biographical Information

Mr. Cameron previously served as Assistant City Manager from November 1986 to August 2009.  He holds the degrees of Bachelor of City Planning from the University of Virginia, and Master of Business Administration from the College of William and Mary. Mr. Cameron is a member of the International City Management Association. Prior to his service in Fredericksburg, he was City Manager of Jefferson City, TN.
