What hours does FRED operate?

FRED’s basic service operates weekdays from about 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.  FRED’s VRE feeder service starts at approximately 5:00 am and serves the VRE morning trains; it restarts in the afternoon at approximately 2:30 pm to meet the afternoon and evening trains.  During the University of Mary Washington academic year, FRED operates limited additional services Thursday and Friday night and throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.  Call 540.372.1222 or visit www.rideFRED.com for schedule details.

The George Washington Regional Commission administers GWRideConnect, a free carpool and vanpool matching service, to assist long distance commuters. Information about GWRideConnect can be found at www.gwrideconnect.org/
