Sophia Street Parking Garage

Introduction

The Sophia Street Parking Garage (600 Sophia Street) opened to the public on November 3, 2005. The garage provides 297 parking spaces. For more information, contact the Parking Office in the lobby of the Executive Plaza (the building attached to the deck), or call (540) 371-8542.

Hours of Operation

The Sophia Street Parking Garage is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The garage will be served by a parking attendant: 

Monday through Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Saturday:  8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Sunday/Holidays:  9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

These attendants provide customer service to parking patrons, and assist with light-duty maintenance. The Parking Office is located on the first floor of the Executive Plaza (601 Caroline Street).

The garage access and payment system is fully automated. Customers use convenient payment stations located near the entrance on Wolfe Street and near the pedestrian walkway leading to Caroline Street. These payment stations accept cash and credit cards. Attendants are not needed for patrons to use the garage. Please refer to the Sophia Street Parking Garage Brochure for more information about the automated access and revenue control system.

Daily Up to 2 hours - Complimentary
  Each additional hour or any part thereof - $1.00
  Maximum up to 24 hours - $8.00

Night Up to 2 hours - Complimentary
  Maximum Nightly - $2.00
  Enter After 5 PM, Exit by 8 AM, M–F  

Weekend Up to 2 hours - Complimentary
  Up to 4 hours - $1.00
  Maximum up to 24 hours - $2.00

Early-Bird Up to 2 hours - Complimentary
  Each additional hour or any part thereof - $1.00
  Maximum up to 24 hours - $4.00

Monthly Rate/Monthly Agreement     $60.00 Regular

Lost Tickets:  If you lose your parking ticket, you'll be charged $50.00.

Special Events:  Rates may differ for special events.
