Sophia Street Parking Garage

Introduction

The Sophia Street Parking Garage (600 Sophia Street), located at the corner of Sophia and Wolfe Street, provides 297 parking spaces in historic downtown Fredericksburg.  It is within easy walking distance of key downtown points such as the train station, visitor’s center, and courts.  Many shops and fine restaurants are just a block away.

Hours of Operation

The Sophia Street Parking Garage is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The garage will be served by a parking attendant: 

Monday through Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Saturday:  8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Sunday/Holidays:  9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The garage access and payment system is fully automated.  Attendants are not needed for patrons to use the garage. Convenient payment stations are located near the entrance and near the pedestrian walkway leading to Caroline Street.

The Parking Garage Office is located the in the Executive Plaza, 601 Caroline Street, (the adjacent building) on the second floor, Suite 200A.  Call (540) 371-8542 for questions.

Maximum up to 24 hours - $8.00

Maximum Nightly (5pm-8am, M-F) - $2.00

3-4 hours - $1.00

Maximum up to 24 hours - $2.00

Early-Bird

First 3 hours - Free

Each additional hour/part hour - $1.00

Maximum up to 24 hours - $5.00

Lost Tickets:  If you lose your parking ticket, you'll be charged $50.00.
