Farmer's Market

The Fredericksburg Farmer’s Market is an open air market which sells goods which are home grown, homemade or home baked by farmers.  Year round sales are permitted at the Farmer’s Market (located around Hurkamp Park - the Prince Edward and George Street sides) Monday-Saturday: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday: 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. While the market is open for sales during that time, there is no guarantee that vendors will be in attendance. Our farmers typically arrive early and leave by 2 p.m. or sooner if all their items are sold.  Most vendors participate during the growing season of April thru October.  Saturdays mornings are our most popular and busiest time.

Products sold include vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, baked goods (ingredients must be grown or processed by the farmer), plants, flowers, dried flowers, herbs, Christmas wreaths and more. This is a general list.  Items vary depending on the vendor’s availability and seasonal influences.

Directions

From I-95, exit Route 3 east.  Go approximately 2 miles to downtown Fredericksburg.  (Note:  Through the city, Route 3 is called William Street.)  Market is located at intersection of William Street and Prince Edward Street around the outside perimeter of Hurkamp Park.
